.NET Jr. Software Developer

Southern Careers Institute is seeking a .NET Jr. Software Developer (.NET Core) to help shape the future of cutting edge educational delivery and will directly impact and support the organization’s platform. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and key corporate and campus personnel to maintain academic quality, consistency, relevancy, and integrity in program development, course creation, oversight and review, and educational delivery. This position will partner with a UI development team in implementing, testing, and deploying platform enhancements and to improve course delivery, report functionality, and ultimately improving student outcomes.

Primary Experience

· 2+ years C#

· 1+ years ASPNET Core 5+ or later (dependency injection, RESTful APIs, Razor pages)

· 1+ years Entity Framework Core 5+ (including migrations)

· 2+ years of Microsoft Server (SQL language, stored procedures, database design)

· Experience using Visual Studio 2019/2022 and GitHub

· Agile / scrum experienced

Primary Responsibilities

· Software development in a remote work environment

· Work alongside team members to maintain and implement API microservices, object services, and repositories

· Participate in daily development team meetings

· Configure and maintain resources in Microsoft Azure

· Participate in periodic software deployments during off-hours
