Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop an understanding of our developer enablement tools to identify and implement improvements.
• Implement and support developer enable tools that are highly available & performant for our distributed teams.
• Implement cloud infrastructure with our services teams that is scalable, performant, and secure.
• Build reliability monitoring & telemetry for high-availability services with fast failure recovery.
• Contribute to and adhere to standards & best practices across our pipelines and cloud infrastructure that emphasizes re-usability, self-service, scalability, and security.
• Mentor colleagues to expand their expertise and improve the capabilities of the team.
• Advocate for other developers with plans to improve tooling, workflows, automation, etc.
• Deliver comprehensive solutions, ensuring they are stable, highly performant, well documented, and testable.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Expertise in DevOps and CI/CD principles and best practices.
• Experience with deploying and maintaining infrastructure via cloud platforms leveraging terraform.
• Experience with pipeline development leveraging Perforce and TeamCity.
• Experience with web frameworks, specifically .Net.
• Familiarity leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Solid analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Diligent mentality, robust sense of responsibility/accountability, and strong verbal/written communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
